Please submit a first version of your paper in pdf-format by March 15, 2016 (deadline extended) in our online conference system. Decisions about acceptance will be issued by April 1, 2016. The NOeG-SEA meeting will be held in English. Authors interested in submitting their paper to the proceedings of the conference (in Empirica – Journal of European Economics) should indicate this during the submission process. We are also happy to consider proposals for complete sessions devoted to specific topics.
Special Award for Young Economists:
The Austrian Economic Association offers a prize of EUR 750 for outstanding papers of economists of age 35 or less. In case of joint papers, all co-authors have to fulfil this condition. Papers in all areas of economics are eligible. The papers have to be presented at the NOeG-SEA 2016 meeting. Authors who wish to be considered for the Special Award for Young Economists must indicate this in the submission process.
Please register via the conference website: slovakecon.sk/noegsea2016. The registration fee of EUR 50 will be waived for members of the Austrian Economic Association (NOeG) and members of the Slovak Economic Association (SEA).
You are more than welcome to attend the conference as a non-presenting participant. In this case you can still take part in our scientific and social program, without presenting your own research. However, the number of non-presenting participants is limited, so please contact the organizers for your registration.
